Open frame design

With its open frame, an integrated Bosch 625Wh PowerTube battery, Bosch’s Performance Line motor, and an 80mm travel fork, the Moustache Xroad 3 Open is the epitome of versatility and comfort. Why did the team at Moustache labour over this frame design for three years?  In order to have an ultra low-step frame, the top tube which provides most of the strength must be completely removed.  Normally this will result in a frame with excessive flex giving wobbly handling. To add strength, budget bike manufacturers just add more metal so it weighs a ton!

Smart System by Bosch:

The Smart System is the connected link between your motor, battery, display and the remote control on your handlebar: all controllable from the eBike Flow app. With added features such as eBike Lock, navigation and route planning and automatic system updates, this latest technology by Bosch will keep your bike safe and performing at its best!

The new Bosch Smart System paired with the Bosch Performance Line motor results in a very capable bike able to climb the steepest of climbs with the latest technology and connectivity on board. With a sporty torque of 75 Nm and incredibly high performances, the motor brings just the right touch of assistance always at the right moment. And finally with the 500Wh Bosch battery this bike won’t shy away from the longer commutes and will keep you going when you need it most!

Integrated Parts

The luggage rack with QL3 system means you can attach the Moustache by Ortlieb panniers in seconds, giving the Xroad even more versatility. Its wide platform also makes it compatible with a large range of child seats. The MIK integration allows for quick fitting of a wide range of Basil bags and accessories. Exclusive tubular Moustache mud-guards, ultra solid and reliable, are perfectly centred over the wheel to keep you and your bike dry and clean in all conditions.
